Marketing Experience

When Melissa earned a degree in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology from Kent State University, she left her hometown to start a new career in Chicago. She took her first position as a marketing coordinator for a suburban Coldwell Banker office.

Her experience in real estate proved to be a good fit and she was quickly promoted to the home office in the company's luxury division. Seeking new challenges, she left the company for a few years, working as a marketing manager for an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. She soon returned to Coldwell Banker as marketing manager for Chicago where she learned from over 700 agents and earned her Brokers License. After gaining sales experience, she knew it was the right fit and decided to pursue it full time.
